Fits onto Garmin Friction mount but (See Cons)Cons: Its a struggle to put your device in this (almost have to use 2 hands). Good quality (not one of those cheap eBay units). This works fine with the long stem windsheild suction mount (included).Overall, I'm happy with the purchase I hardly give 5 star reviews unless something about a product surprises me.I wanted to find a mount for my iphone that can be used with my case (Griffin Clarifi) and my Garmin Friction mount.Pro's: Works with most cell phone. iPhone (with case) does fit but it just fits. Only fits Garmin Friction mount horizontally.
It did stick to the windshield, but on one hot summer day, the suction cup (which was black) melted to the hot windshield and after that it would not stick anymore. The dashboard mount was useless, it simply would not stick. The Garmin SOFTWARE is great, but this mount is NOT. One of the plastic clips broke the very first day. Two more broke over the next few days. I replaced this unit with a "Mobile Grip-It" windshield mount (with a clear suction cup) from Walmart which works much better.
I bought this from Amazon a week ago and it shipped from GizmosForLife for $16. This is a great product for $16 but don't get screwed and pay $50 by shipping from Toyz who generally are a rip off. Let me first say, don't pay $50 for this product. Now it's shipping from another company for $50 and that's garbage.
The phone/PDA mount works great but I don't know why Amazon is charging $52.99 when you can buy directly from Garmin for $24.99.
High quality windshield suction and it grips PDA very nicely.My only wish is that the swivel ball that holds the back plate had a little more range of motion.
